No more sleeping in!!!!!

Why is it that no matter how late my toddler goes to bed, she is still up at the BUTT CRACK OF DAWN???? Okay, well 8:30... but it is summer and I don't work or have any other up-early obligations! We changed her to a later bedtime, 9:00 instead of 8:00, but she is still getting up early. This happens even when she gets to sleep closer to 10!!! Is there a toddler code that says they aren't aloud to let their parents sleep in? When do weekends come into play? The real kicker is we KNOW she is tired!!! She spends the morning before her nap being borderline cranky at times and I know if she just SLEPT-IN we would all be more chipper! Sometimes I really miss those baby months where she slept all night and took a nice long nap!!!
