Mommy DIY: Felt Food - Pancakes

Today I embarked on a DIY quest to make Hailey some felt play food. My first attempt, the pancake! I want something simple because I am not a "sewer". My school did not offer home-ec and I never asked my mom and mommom to teach me because, to be honest, I never thought I would need it! But as a mom, I decided I wanted to be all crafty and what- not, so without further adieu, my first felt pancake!

I used two light brown circles and added a little stuffing in the middle to give it some smoosh and then I cut a dark brown syrup and a pad of butter. Pretty easy-peasy if you ask me! I think I am going to do eggs next!
